I often have a hard time sticking with games until they’re complete. It’s something you can tell about me if you look at my Youtube playlists. I don’t like that I do that – I prefer watching playthroughs until the end when I’m watching someone else. I also tend to be pretty completionist with the parts of games I do play, so it’s a weird contradiction.
But whether I want to blame the ADHD or not, my attention eventually wanders and I just get burned out. (Caveat: This never really happened with The Secret World/Secret World Legends. I don’t play as often now as I used to, but I never reached a “Welp, I’m done,” point.)
Anyway, all this to say I’m pretty happy with making it 6 sessions on this one and still being invested enough to want to do more. I think there’s an excellent chance I’ll at least make it through the first complete year, and possibly beyond that if I’m lucky. Here’s hoping!
